Jerusalem-The Old City-Jaffa gate

The Old City have moore gates: Jaffa gate(construction-1530-40,location Middle of western side),Zion gate (construction -1540 ,location-Middle of southern side),Dung gate (construction-1538-40 ,location-East of southerm side),Golden gate,Lions gate (construction-1538-39 ,location-North of eastern side),Herod`s gate,Damascus gate( construction year-1537 ,location-Middle of northem side),New gate(construction year-1887 ,location-West of northern side).
The Jaffa gate is one of the main entrances to the Old City.Beside the gate a large opening in the wall runs along the Citadel of David.

Beduin

On desert sustains Beduin whole main livelihood is derived from camel and cattle breeding.The Beduin are divided into tribes,each tribe with its own grazing terrytory wherein they roam with their herds.The head of the tribe,the Sheikh,represents his people and is in charge of dealings with the authorities. The word Beduin,in arabic Bedu,is derived from Badiye,which means desert.
The Beduin are reputed for their ready hospitality,and receive visitors gracefully.
